WHAT EXPERIENCE DO YOU HAVE? 

Between the team we have over 80 years of experience in the Food and Drink Industry, including Food Service, Retail & Manufacturing. We have worked with over 100 brands in the last 4 years, from Pre-Revenue Start Up all the way up to Multi-Million-pound Businesses, securing listings and managing the growth.

 

ARE YOU A SALES AGENCY?

No, we have built relationships with key National Wholesalers, Regional Wholesalers and End Users over our careers. We work openly and transparently with our brands and offer such services as Visionary Manager once a listing happens. Our role is to facilitate a commercial relationship with key foodservice touchpoints, but the order process etc is then dealt with by you.

 

WHAT AREAS OF THE INDUSTRY DO YOU CLASS AS FOODSERVICE?

We cover the main sectors of foodservice including travel, leisure, contract catering, healthcare, education, hotel, restaurant, pub, coffee and QSR. We then also work with the corresponding distributors who supply into these areas including Bidfood, Brakes, Caterforce, Country Range, Unitas, Sugro, Sterling and more.

 

WHAT ARE YOUR COSTS?

Costs will depend on the size and scope of the project. We are happy to build a bespoke plan for you on a no-obligation zoom. We have certain packages but everyone business is different so we personalise your package to suit you.

 

IF THE BRAND WASN'T SUCCESSFUL, WHEN WOULD YOU TELL US?

We would give our opinions on a brand, or product, before we started work with a brand to ensure there was a good fit for both parties. We would usually get a good indication within 3 months of how the market is receiving a product or brand. At this point, we would assess what the best next steps would be, given the feedback (cost, branding, product improvement etc).

 

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I GET A LISTING?

When you achieve a listing, we will be able to advise of the things that will need to be put in place in order to have a successful launch. The account then will need to be managed for areas such as, dealing with orders, dialogue with the buyers and promotional planning. At Visionary, we do offer a service of account management which can be added on or moved into fully, should you wish.
